School internships & curricular mobility – opportunities for students
KASA|PT supports secondary schools and vocational institutions in organizing Erasmus+ curricular internships. We provide hosting, supervision, and a stimulating learning environment so that students can apply their knowledge in real-world contexts and gain intercultural skills from a young age.
How the Erasmus program works
KASA|PT acts as a host organization within the Erasmus+ framework, welcoming international participants for internships, training, or volunteering projects in Portugal.
We work closely with sending organizations such as schools, universities, training centers or associations, which are responsible for preparing the Erasmus+ application and managing the funding. Once selected, participants benefit from a structured and supportive environment from the moment they arrive in Portugal through KASA|PT.

1. Application process
How to apply for an Erasmus+ opportunity
To take part in an Erasmus+ mobility with KASA|PT, candidates must be selected by a sending organization in their home country. This organization is in charge of preparing and submitting the Erasmus+ application to the National Agency.
Once the project is approved, the sending organization contacts KASA|PT to organize the stay, define the learning objectives, and coordinate logistics. KASA|PT does not manage Erasmus+ applications directly.
2. Funding & Grants
Financial support for participants
Erasmus+ mobilities are funded by the European Commission through the participant’s sending organization. This funding usually covers travel, accommodation, insurance, and daily living expenses.
As a host partner, KASA|PT facilitates the stay but does not provide grants. All financial matters are managed by the sending organization before departure.
3. Local partnerships network
Partner institutions & host organizations
KASA|PT works with a diverse network of local host organizations in Portugal, offering mobility opportunities across a wide range of sectors. From hospitality and tourism to marketing, education, social work, administration, and sustainability, we ensure that each participant is matched with a host structure relevant to their profile and learning goals.
4. Full mobility support
What to expect before, during & after your Erasmus mobility
Before your arrival, KASA|PT coordinates with your sending organization to prepare your integration and training plan. From the moment you arrive, you'll be welcomed by our team, accommodated in group housing and supported throughout your stay by regular visits.
During your mobility, we contribute to the evaluation of your placement and provide regular feedback to your sending organization to validate your Erasmus+ experience.

Professional Internship - Delook
I think it is a good opportunity to learn more about my job and the culture. I learned a little bit of everything at the saloon, and it is been very good, I loved it! My advice is to be open to make new friends, trying not to be so shy and enjoy the experience. I felt very welcomed and learned to be more independent.

The recruitment of foreign interns is a recent experience and at the moment it has exceeded expectations. Recruiting foreign trainees is a stimulation for us and the challenge of language is an asset in the process for everyone. International Mobility is a pedagogical tool for any student’s academic career.

Students, recent graduates, apprentices, teachers, and youth workers from eligible Erasmus+ countries can apply. To participate, you must be selected by a sending organization such as a school, university, NGO, or training center that manages your application and mobility project.
How much financial support can I receive?
The financial support depends on your country of origin, destination, and type of activity. Erasmus+ grants typically cover travel, accommodation, and daily expenses. All funding is managed by your sending organization, not by the host partner.
